  If I could give negrtive stars I would. I dislike this company so much. We had the slowest internet for $35- it worked great for our needs. This was when it was tome warner cable. Now, once they switched to spectrum our internet started working borribly, they told us we could buy a new router or rent one. So we buy a nice one- internet still sucks! They offer us a promotion 44.99 for faster internet- we take it. They did not tell us it increased after a year- however I did not read the fine print since I was busy with a newborn. Well, our “new fast internet” is still just as horrible. In fact, I am using my phone data because my internet can’t even run a simple google search. We have had technicians come out multiple times. Besides insulting my home while I was in the other room (but could clearly hear them making rude comments) they didn’t fix anything. Our internet is still horrible. It gets better!! Now our internet is $70. I called in and asked if we could go back to the slower internet since we didn’t really need the fast because it made no difference and I was told that’s the cheapest they have. What? No. We were on another plan before. I questioned multiple times and I was told I could cancel my service if I wanted. Anyway, we don’t have another option for internet where we live. If they had great customer service and great internet I could stomach the $70- but it’s horrible! Oh! Another thing. The cable box on our property broke and was exposing wires. I called in and told them we have young children and it’s a liability for them... guess how quick that got fixed? Within hours, but I’m still paying $70 a month for horrible internet. We are thinking about getting a mobile hot spot through Verizon or something. They’re expensive but at least they have fast and reliable coverage. I hate spectrum. If anyone even reads this whole thing- stay far away if you can. I took a poll of my friends and neighbors and many I don’t know my friends are all paying different prices for just internet. Anywhere from 14.99-115. That’s quiet a range for the same service. I wish I could do more but this long nasty google review will have to do for now (and yes, I feel better- until I go to try and watch march madness and I’m sure it will stop every 5 minutes).
